• IAQ-related regulations for workplaces under Canadian federal jurisdiction came into effect on October 11th, 2000.  An amendment to the Canadian Occupational Safety and Health regulations is actually titled "Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems".  This regulation includes requirements for Operation, Inspection, Testing, Cleaning and Maintenance of HVAC systems, and IAQ investigation procedures.   Click here to see the text of the amendment to the COSH regulation.
