Company principal, Chris
Collett is a Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional and has
twenty-seven years experience in IAQ research and consulting, and has
conducted more than 600 IAQ investigations of commercial,
institutional, industrial and residential buildings worldwide,
employing state of the art IAQ sampling and analytical protocols. He
has also authored numerous scientific and technical papers on IAQ,
building performance and occupant health and comfort. Chris is
currently the President of the British Columbia Chapter of the American
Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers
(ASHRAE), and is a member of the Canadian Green Building Council
(CaGBC).
Chris Collett spent his
early years in England. He received a Bachelor of Science Honours
Degree from Loughborough University of Technology in the U.K. in
1979. Chris moved to Canada in 1979 and was awarded a Masters
Degree from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, B.C. in 1981. From
1981 until 1995, Chris worked with Theodor D. Sterling and Associates
Ltd., a Vancouver based company, and was the company's Director of
Indoor Environmental Research. Chris left in the spring of 1995
to start his own company, Christopher Collett & Associates Ltd.,
and has worked on IAQ-related projects throughout Canada since that
time.
